About Us

John Clements

South Worcester Shooting Ground has provided Clay Pigeon Shooters with high quality shooting since 1987.

The ground is situated on open land close to the small town of Upton-upon-Severn in South Worcestershire with easy access from the M5 or M50.

Over the years, the owner, John Clements, has developed a wide variety of clay targets, from the high pheasant to the elusive bolting rabbit. With its open attitude it is an ideal ground for beginners but still finds enough cover to challenge even the best.

John and his wife Pauline are always on hand to give you a friendly welcome. We provide everything you need including cartridges, refreshments and plenty of advice if you need it.

Credit/Debit cards and cash are all accepted.

The shooting ground is open every Wednesday and on selected

Saturdays and Sundays from March to November,

See Shoot Dates for when we are open.

Pauline

You will usually find her behind the counter serving you with cartridges and making sure you have the right score cards. When we are not open she works behind the scenes making sure everything is as it should be. She is the oil that keeps the whole machine working smoothly.

Becky

As one of our top lady coaches she is in great demand for giving lessons and is always on the go. She has a significant input into setting up layouts and designing the shooting grounds web sites. She loads and coaches in the field for game shooters and is an accomplished photographer, specialising in field events.

John H

John has been coaching at the ground since we first started in 1987. His infectious enthusiasm and easy going nature immediately puts novices at ease, which is an important part of an enjoyable shooting experience

Val

Val is in charge of the catering. Her bacon, egg and mushroom baps are legendary and her home made cakes will break the resolve of anyone on a diet - be warned!
